Careers

Meaningful work happens in everyday moments.

Join a relationship-centered team helping adults build stability, strengthen routines, and participate more fully in community life.

Across residential programs, transitional living, supportive apartments, and home care services, staff help adults practice skills, navigate challenges, and build greater stability in daily life. Wild Acre looks for thoughtful, dependable, and compassionate professionals who value collaboration and genuine human connection.

Do work where relationships have time to matter.

Unlike many acute treatment settings, Wild Acre gives staff the opportunity to know residents over time, support them through setbacks, and witness meaningful progress.

Because care is not driven by insurance reimbursement requirements or rigid treatment structures, staff have more room to respond to challenges as they happen and provide individualized coaching in daily life. This work is coordinated with residents, families when appropriate, outpatient providers, psychiatrists, and other members of each resident’s treatment team.

Our Culture

Our culture is built around:

Relationship-centered, person-first care
Respect for each resident’s dignity, autonomy, and personal goals
Therapeutic connections built through everyday interactions
Individualized treatment planning and practical skill-building
A structured, supportive, and non-punitive approach to growth and accountability
Collaboration, integrity, teamwork, continuous learning, and compassionate care

The kind of people who thrive here

Wild Acre is a strong fit for professionals who are compassionate, dependable, collaborative, and comfortable working in residential care.

The work suits people who can balance structure with flexibility, maintain healthy boundaries while building authentic connections, and respond to changing needs with patience, consistency, and respect.

Depending on the role, responsibilities may include clinical case management, residential support, medication administration, life-skills coaching, transportation, community engagement, family collaboration, transition planning, and coordination with outpatient providers.

Because Wild Acre provides 24-hour residential support, some roles include evenings, overnights, weekends, or holidays.

Direct-care staff receive the training and support needed to obtain and maintain MAP certification. Many positions prefer a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related human-services field, along with at least one year of relevant experience.
