Wild Acre Belmont

When asked to describe Wild Acre Belmont, a resident of twenty years stated it’s “the best home I ever had.” Another resident said, “it is truly a home, a place to learn and grow – a gift.” Located in a historic Georgian style home built in 1905, the program provides residents with warmth and compassion along with structured treatment. The prime location of the program offers access to top-level hospitals and health and mental health care providers, while still in a residential Belmont neighborhood. Each resident works with a designated clinical case manager equipped with extensive training in a wide range of persistent mental health challenges and disorders. Additionally, residents have access to twenty-four-hour, seven days a week on-site supportive staff.

Program services include: medication management, check-in time with case manager multiple times per week, schedule management for various appointments, health and wellness group activities, creative expression groups, and community outings. Case managers assist residents in navigating and building an outpatient team of providers and will host treatment review meetings to ensure cooperation and collaboration across multiple professionals. Amenities in the home include: private bedrooms, ample common areas, family-style chef-prepared dinners, stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages, art and music supplies, a cozy library, and outdoor lounge space.
